Import Restrictions

An import permit is required for many goods. Before posting any item, senders should confirm that the addressee has any necessary permit or a certificate of contingency issued by the Ministry of Commerce. Senders should determine import restrictions from the country's authorities before posting:

  • animals, animal products or fats and or vegetable fats
  • dairy products
  • essential oils
  • live bees, leeches, silkworms and parasites
  • mineral oils
  • pearls, precious stones and metals
  • powders
  • vinegars
  • wax and candles.

Prohibited Items

In addition to items considered non-mailable matter, the following are prohibited:

  • bio Products
  • communistic materials
  • drugs, non-prescription
  • items offensive to Muslim culture
  • inorganic chemicals
  • live animals
  • liquids
  • micro Film
  • passports
  • x-rays.
